Service & warranty

Akerfalk watches comes with a full two-year warranty from the original date of purchase. The warranty covers any need of repair due to defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Akerfalk obligations are limited to repair or replacement at its option. The warranty excludes the battery, strap/bracelet and excessive wear or damage to the case, glass or strap.

Handle with care

Even though we us top quality materials, the watch must be handled with care. Avoid subjecting your watch to strong vibrations, sudden impacts, and drops. Hard and sharp surfaces. If watches with IP coated surfaces (black or gold) are heavily scratched the steel material underneath may be revealed. During normal everyday use the coating will last for years. The K1 hardened glass is virtually scratch proof. However, it may still scratch if you dropped it onto a hard surface from a sufficient height.

Leather is a natural material. You should therefore avoid allowing the leather strap to come into contact with water as it will shorten its life-span. The color of the leather will change and develop a beautiful patina over time. Mocha straps have a more delicate surface than leather straps. Areas exposed to rubbing will become smooth and glossy. Dark suede colors may cross stain and if wet, please be careful to rub white surfaces. Metal mesh straps in black and gold are IP coated colors. Areas exposed to long time rubbing will wear of the color. During normal everyday use, the coating will last for years.

Changing Straps

Changing strap is fast and easy, all Åkerfalk straps come with the quick release system, just pull the spring on the backside of the strap and it will release. Then replace it with a new strap that will fit the occasion. All Nato straps come with extra spring-bars as they don’t have the quick release system.
